Sushmitha Suresh

Sushmitha Suresh has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sushmitha is currently a Data Scientist at Appcast, Inc since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Introhive from 2019 to 2022 as a Data Scientist. In this role, they automated loading and transformation processes, created a feature store, and implemented SQL scripts on Snowflake for entity matching. Before that, they were a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo in 2018, where they assisted a professor in a software engineering course and graded student projects. Sushmitha also worked as an Associate Development Engineer at Unisys India from 2015 to 2018, where they automated data extraction processes and published reports for an airline client. Additionally, they served as the Design Head at MiTech Digest from 2013 to 2015, leading the web team and managing a team of writers for a bi-monthly technical newsletter.

Sushmitha Suresh completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Anna University from 2011 to 2015. Sushmitha then pursued a Master's degree in Management Science at the University of Waterloo from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, they obtained the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer certification from Oracle in August 2015. In December 2020, they achieved the AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
