Mari Haga Rimestad

Mari Haga Rimestad has a diverse work experience. Mari joined Appfarm in August 2020 as a QA and solutions engineer and later became the QA Lead in September 2021. Prior to Appfarm, they worked at Sopra Steria as a PMO Analyst from August 2014 to June 2018, and then as a Project Leader from July 2018 to July 2020. Before that, they co-founded Apraxim and worked on product development from January 2013 to May 2014. Additionally, Mari had a significant role in ESTIEM, where they served as the Knowledge Management Committee Leader, responsible for coordinating three sections and leading a team of almost 30 members. Mari also held positions of Best Practice Documents Responsible and was responsible for finances and the TIMES case competition during their tenure at ESTIEM.

Mari Haga Rimestad completed their education with a Master of Science degree in Entrepreneurship from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU in 2012. In 2011, Mari pursued a Master's program at Universidad de Sevilla in the field of Industrial Economics and Technology Management. Mari also completed a one-year program in French at NTNU in 2008. Mari completed their high school studies in the International Program at Ecole Secondaire Rive-Nord in Quebec, Canada in 2005. In terms of additional certifications, Mari obtained an Appfarm Fundamentals Certification in 2021. In 2019, they achieved the ISTQB Advanced level Test Manager certification. Mari also obtained several certifications in 2014 including ISTQB Foundation, ITIL Foundation, Kepner-Tregoe Foundation, PRINCE2 Foundation, and PRINCE2 Practitioner.
