Oren Jacob

Oren Jacob is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology and animation industries. Currently serving as Engineering Lead at Apple since January 2019, Oren focuses on enhancing Siri's capabilities. Prior to this, Oren co-founded and led PullString, Inc. as CEO, where noteworthy contributions included creating character-based conversations and driving the startup's acquisition by Apple. Oren's tenure at Pixar spanned over two decades, during which significant roles included Director of Studio Tools, Supervisor of Technical Direction on films like Finding Nemo, and contributions to numerous Pixar classics and commercials. Oren also has a strong academic background, having taught entrepreneurship and animation courses at various institutions, including the University of California, Berkeley, and Pixar University. Educational qualifications include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
