Chris Hetz

Chris Hetz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government contracts and business development. Presently serving as the Government Contracts Manager at Applied Intuition since May 2024, Chris also works as an Independent Consultant. Prior roles include Director of Contracts at Saildrone Inc. and Senior Director of Business Development at R-Zero. Chris has a significant background in defense, having held key positions at the Defense Innovation Unit and the US Army, where responsibilities spanned contracting, acquisition, and operations. Chris is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a BS in Civil Engineering and earned an MBA from the Texas McCombs School of Business. Additional qualifications include completion of the US Army Ranger, Airborne, and Jumpmaster Schools.
