David Capen

David Capen has over 20 years of professional experience in the technology industry. David began their career in 1999 at Booz Allen Hamilton as Chief Technologist, where they provided technical, architecture, and task program leadership over a strategic innovation team focused on developing and integrating Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI solutions. David was also the Technical Director and task order lead for an enterprise wide Modeling and Simulation contract that provided pioneered and facilitated the use of data-driven models to predict performance of cloud computing systems. Additionally, David was the Chief Technologist and task order manager of a large system and software engineering contract providing Cyber Defense and CND capabilities to cyber mission users and operators. In 2022, David joined Applied Network Solutions, Inc. as Executive Director, Growth & Strategy.

David Capen attended C. Milton Wright High School from 1991 to 1995. David then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Loyola University Maryland, which they completed in 1999.
