Joseph Ballista has worked in the cybersecurity field since 2010. joseph began their career at SAIC as a Tier II Help Desk in 2010. In 2015, they moved to Dependable Global Solutions as a Data Security Sensor Tech. In 2017, they joined Engility Corporation as a Cyber Threat Emulator. In 2018, they worked at General Dynamics Information Technology as a Sr IA Tech. In 2019, they returned to Applied Network Solutions Inc. as a Sr Cyber Operator. In 2021, they moved to Abacus Technology Corporation as a Cyber Security Engineer. joseph is currently employed at Applied Network Solutions, Inc. as a Sr Cyber Operator.

Joseph Ballista has a diverse educational background. From 2012 to 2015, they attended the University of Maryland Global Campus and earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Information Technology. joseph then attended Western Governors University from 2015 to 2016 and studied Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. joseph is currently attending Georgia Institute of Technology, where they are studying Cyber Security.
