Shahab Mohsen

Shahab Mohsen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Shahab is currently the Vice President of Product & Engineering at ApplyBoard, where they lead the end-to-end business solutions for institutions by managing Product Management, Engineering, and Sales teams. Before joining ApplyBoard, Shahab worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the Head of Worldwide Solutions Architecture for Enterprise Migrations and Microsoft Workloads. During their tenure there, they led a team of Solutions Architects and collaborated with customers and product teams to ensure customer needs were met. Prior to AWS, they worked at Samsung Research America as an Engineering Manager and Tech Lead, where they contributed to the development of security solutions for enterprises and mobile payment solutions. Shahab also has experience in the financial sector, having worked at Citi as an Application Developer and at RBC Capital Markets as a Senior Technical Systems Analyst. Shahab began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, where they conducted research in font creation and implemented projects using Java, C, and Post Script. Shahab's career journey began as a student at Allameh Helli School.

Shahab Mohsen completed their education with a MMATH degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a BCS degree in Computer Science from the same university between 2004 and 2007. Additionally, they attended Allameh Helli, but no degree or field of study information is available for that institution.
