Ben Pruce

Ben Pruce has a diverse range of work experience. Ben is currently working as a Senior Manager Detection Engineering at AppOmni. Previously, they worked at HashiCorp as an Engineering Manager, Threat Detection and Response, and as a Senior Security Engineer. Before that, they worked at Salesforce, where they held various roles including Lead Security Engineer, Senior Security Engineer - Detection Cloud, Security Engineer - Detection Cloud, and Trust Program Engineer. Prior to their time at Salesforce, Ben worked at Crowe Horwath LLP as a Technology Risk Consultant, specializing in controls evaluation and security assessments. Ben also has experience in research and experimentation, having worked at Indiana University Bloomington in roles such as Experiment Designer/Programmer, MRI Facility Manager, and Research Assistant, Lab Manager. Additionally, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Montana State University, focusing on inflammatory disease and developmental immunology.

Between 2002 and 2008, Ben studied at Indiana University Bloomington and earned a B.A. degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences.

In 2006 and 2007, they attended Aerie WEMT where they received a certification as an EMT-Basic with a focus on Wilderness Survival.
