Brian Shapiro

Brian Shapiro has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Brian began their career as an IT Consultant at Netready, where they provided high-level enterprise I.T. consulting services to businesses across California. Brian then worked as an Infrastructure Administrator at Ports America, managing network infrastructure and server performance for West Coast port operations. Brian continued this role at Single Point of Contact, where they ensured the integrity of 1,000+ Windows servers and supported 2,000 users. Brian then joined Innovative Computing Systems, Inc as a Systems Engineer, providing network infrastructure design and support to law firms. Currently, they are working at Appriss Retail, initially serving as an Infrastructure Manager and now as the Director of Cloud & Infrastructure. In this role, Brian directs strategic planning and implementation to improve server efficiency and reliability for four SaaS solutions provided to retail clients. Brian oversees a $2M annual budget for technical projects, including data migrations and server maintenance.

Brian Shapiro received their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration: Information Systems from California State University-Dominguez Hills, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, they obtained the certifications of ShoreTel 3200e - Implementing ShoreTel Systems from ShoreTel in April 2013, and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator - Windows Server 2003 (MCSA) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer -Windows Server 2003 (MCSE) from Microsoft in April 2006.
