Devante Andrew

Devante Andrew has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Devante currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Advancing Ventures since 2020. Devante's most recent role was as the New Business Lead at Appt Health, where they focused on securing bids and converting them into profitable opportunities. Devante was also responsible for creating presentation materials and delivering demos to potential clients.

Prior to their role at Appt Health, Devante worked as a Junior Program Manager (Contract) at Outlier Ventures and as a Partnerships Manager at The Nest. At Wayra UK, they held multiple positions including Programme Manager, Programme Associate, and Research Analyst - Associate. Devante also worked as a Research Associate - Business Author at Communication Matters Ltd, where they conducted research on global companies and transcribed interview recordings.

Earlier in their career, Devante gained experience as a Meet & Greet and Guest Liaison at BBC, where they provided high-quality hospitality to celebrity guests and maintained strong relationships with clients. Devante also volunteered as a Mandarin Translator at the International Maritime Organization and worked as an English Language Teacher at HHS International Cultural Exchange Center. Devante's first job was as a Suit Tailor at HUGO BOSS, where they conducted research on different suit cuts and fabrics and accurately determined clients' sizes.

Devante Andrew attended St Mary's RC Secondary School from 2003 to 2008. Devante then went on to study at Duff Miller from 2008 to 2011, where they earned their A Levels in Maths, Economics, and Psychology. Finally, from 2013 to 2017, Devante Andrew pursued a Master of Science - MSci degree specializing in the Business & Economy of Contemporary China at the University of Nottingham.
