Marina Gaeta Gazzola

Marina Gaeta Gazzola is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as a Resident Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine since June 2022. In addition, Marina has been involved as a Postdoctoral Researcher at APT Foundation since 2019. Marina's earlier career includes teaching as a Bilingual Science Teacher in New Haven Public Schools from 2014 to 2017 and participating in Teach For America during the same period. Marina also gained substantial research experience through positions at Cornell University, including a Research Assistant in multiple labs and participation in the National Science Foundation's Research Experience for Undergraduates Program. Marina earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Yale School of Medicine in May 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Society from Cornell University.
