Michael Hackman

Chief Inventor at Aquarian Space

Michael Hackman has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Michael began their career at Robot Defense Systems, Inc as a Technician in 1985, before moving on to Ball Aerospace where they worked as a Technician from 1986 to 1993. Michael then transitioned to the role of Functional Manager at Ball Aerospace from 1993 to 1998. Following this, they joined Boeing as a Project Engineer from 1998 to 2000. Michael then returned to Ball Aerospace, where they held multiple roles including Project Engineer, Functional Manager, and Project Manager from 2000 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics as a Project Manager for strategic initiatives and the Global-scale Observations of the Limb and Disk (GOLD) project. Finally, they joined Aquarian Space in 2017 as Chief Executive Officer and later became the Chief Inventor in August 2018.

Michael Hackman earned a B.A. in Business Communication from Jones International University in 2005. Prior to that, they obtained an A.S. in Robotics and Electronics Technology from Vincennes University between 1982 and 1985. Michael also studied Laser Electro-Optics at Vincennes University from 1982 to 1984.
