Megan Bateman

Megan Bateman is the Impact and Sustainability Associate at Ara Partners. Megan develops and implements the firm’s sustainability strategy, ESG programs, and integration across portfolio companies and assets.

Prior to joining Ara, Megan was the US Climate Risk Lead and a Climate Strategy Consultant for Quantis, a global sustainability consulting firm, where she developed, launched, and operationalized Quantis’ global solution for Climate-Related Risk & TCFD Reporting. Megan supported companies of all sizes and sectors in GHG accounting, science-based target setting, climate roadmap development and modeling, implementation, and progress tracking. Megan’s work has helped define and strengthen the climate strategies, ESG reporting, and carbon reductions of dozens of public and private companies worldwide. Prior to Quantis, Megan served as the Environmental Group Manager at Barclay Water Management, where she provided EHS risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and reporting for publicly and privately owned complex water systems.

Megan holds dual degrees in Biology and Environmental Science from Tufts University.
