Andrew Dawson has two decades of experience in senior roles in the construction industry and in the field of labor relations. A three-time graduate of the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, he has in-depth experience relating to contract negotiation, stakeholder relations, law, regulatory affairs, and corporate governance.
Most recently he has served as the Atlantic Canada Representative for Canada’s Building Trades Unions; the Provincial Manager for New Brunswick for the Atlantic Canada Regional Council of Carpenters, Millwrights, and Allied Workers and is the principal and founder of AD Strategic Services Corporation.
Mr. Dawson has considerable board and governance experience, serving as a founding Board Member of the New Brunswick Community College Board of Governors, a Board Member on the New Brunswick Insurance Board, a Board Member on the Federal Sustainable Advisory Council to the Minister of the Environment, the President of the Atlantic Canada Regional Council of Carpenters, Millwrights and Allied Workers, the President of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBCJA) Local 1386 and a Trustee on a variety of pension and healthcare trust funds across Atlantic Canada.
