R. P.

R.P. has extensive work experience spanning several decades. They started their career in 1985 at Vale, where they held various roles including General Manager and Director. From 1995 to 2009, they served in different managerial positions at Vale, including Managing Director, Global Director - Sales and Marketing, and Senior Managing Director. In 2010, they joined Hancock Prospecting Group as Chief Marketing Officer. In 2011, they became the President at Arch Resources Asia-Pacific and later transitioned to the role of Vice President and Head of Business Development at Arch Resources, Inc.

R.P. has a diverse education history. They obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. They also pursued further education in business and management, completing an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of California, Riverside. They also enrolled in the Executive Development Program at The Wharton School and obtained a certificate in Directorship from Singapore Management University. R.P. further enhanced their leadership and management skills through programs such as the Senior Leadership Program at MIT Sloan School of Management, Mastering Leadership Challenges at IMD, and Advanced Industrial Marketing Strategy at INSEAD. Additionally, R.P. is planning to complete an Executive Education program in Mergers and Acquisitions at Columbia Business School in 2023. They have obtained certifications in Mergers and Acquisitions from Columbia Business School Executive Education in 2023 and in Management from the University of California, Riverside in 1989.
