Who you are:

Are you comfortable working with data? Are you looking to learn more about building machine learning models? We are looking for a recent college graduate to join our machine learning group. We’re a small (<20) engineering team distributed around the US & Europe, with headquarters in San Francisco. We iterate quickly, ship every day, build for the long term, and are looking for smart, independent engineers who want to ply their trade with like-minded people.

Responsibilities:

• Building datasets for machine learning.
• Owning the entire life cycles of data from collection to labeling and training.
• Building processes to manage data.
• Prompt engineering and testing of LLMs used for data extraction pipelines.
• Own the quality of your deliverable through good design, implementation and unit testing.
• Ship code to production frequently.

Qualifications:

• B.S. or Masters in Data Analytics with familiarity in machine learning
• 2+ years of experience working with Python and Pandas
• Experience working with large datasets

Desired but not Required:

1. Experience building applications for the insurance industry.
2. Experience with Machine Learning Models
3. Experience with GenAI and prompt engineering

Salary Range in CA/NY: $95,000 - $110,000
