Christy Lai

Christy Lai has a diverse range of work experience across various industries. Christy began their career as a Retail Associate at Boutique Jacob inc. in 2010, before moving on to work as a Distribution Center Associate at Aritzia in 2011. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Marketing Representative at car2go North America. Christy then transitioned to a role as a Gift Registry Consultant at Bed Bath & Beyond from 2013 to 2016. In 2015, Lai worked as a Social Media Assistant at the University of Manitoba, where they created and managed content for the institution's social media channels. In 2016, they joined the Vancouver School Board as a Food and Nutrition Programmer, where they ran after-school programs and implemented cooking programs for children. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Virtuous Pie, first as a Shift Leader, then as an Assistant General Manager, responsible for training and coaching front-of-house staff. Lai also served as an Operations and Marketing Coordinator at the same company, where they maintained the supply chain, conducted research, and supported restaurant operations and expansion. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Dietetic Student at North York General Hospital, gaining practical experience in clinical, community, and management settings. Currently, Lai is employed at Arc'teryx Equipment as a Community Marketing Lead.

Christy Lai completed their education with a Professional Master's Diploma in Dietetics/Dietitian from Ryerson University in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Manitoba, which they completed from 2013 to 2016.
