Chris Ahlers

Chris Ahlers has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Chris began their career as a Senior Research Technician at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where they focused on investigating the role of NK-kB and Tat in HIV and potential agents active against this pathway. Following this, they worked as a Medical Resident at Hahnemann University Hospital, Drexel University School of Medicine, studying the antileukemic effect of histone H1 and developing an assay to evaluate histone purging in an in vitro model of leukemia.

Ahlers then joined the National Cancer Institute as a Clinical Fellow in the Molecular Pharmacology Section, Medical Oncology Branch, working in the laboratory of William D. Figg.
