Rebecca Fuchs

Rebecca Fuchs is an accomplished professional in the field of bioinformatics, currently serving as a Senior Research Associate at Arcus Biosciences since October 2022. Previously held the position of Bioinformatics Scientist II at Essex Management, LLC from October 2020 to October 2022. Fuchs has diverse experience in research and coaching, including roles as a rowing coach in various clubs in Rochester, NY, and the DC area from January 2017 to August 2020. Notable research internships include work at the Innovation Center for Biomedical Informatics at Georgetown University, focusing on brain cancer gene expression analysis, and at Celgene, exploring image segmentation. A background in research also includes studying bronchopulmonary dysplasia during an independent study and a materials project for wearable technology at MC10 Inc.
