Santiago Archila has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UCSF. Santiago then joined Change.org in 2014 as a Software Engineer, where they took on a leadership role in a project that automatically surfaced news articles mentioning Change.org petitions. In 2016, Santiago joined Clover Health as a Software Engineer. In 2018, they transitioned to Allbirds, where they held multiple roles, including Software Engineer II, Senior Software Engineer, and Senior Manager, Data Platform. Santiago joined Arcwise as a founding engineer in 2023.
Santiago Archila pursued their education in the field of neuroscience and biomedical engineering. Santiago began their educational journey in 2001 at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2006. Following this, Santiago pursued further education at Emory University, where they obtained their PhD in Neuroscience from 2006 to 2013.
