Leopoldo Giandola

Leopoldo Giandola has a diverse range of work experience in the finance and investment industry. Leopoldo started their career as a Venture Capital Analyst at Digital Magics in 2014. In 2015, they worked as an Analyst in the Client Coverage and International Network division at Crédit Agricole CIB, where they gained experience in deal origination, relationship management, and analysis of the Italian Aerospace&Defense market. Leopoldo also participated in the largest trade finance deal ever done by Crédit Agricole in Italy.

In 2016, Leopoldo had two internships. The first was at Ardian, where they worked in the Mid Cap Leveraged Buyout team, contributing to investment memos, due diligence processes, and managing the Data Room. The second internship was at Centerview Partners, where they received in-company training in Investment Banking.

In 2016, they joined Mastercard as an Associate Analyst in their Graduate Program. In this role, they conducted on-site projects for banking institutions, including market sizing and targeting analysis and the launch of an innovative payment product.

In 2017, Leopoldo joined Arma Partners as an Analyst in Technology M&A Advisory. Leopoldo contributed to the origination and execution of sell-side and buy-side transactions in the TMT industry, working on notable transactions such as the acquisition of SUSE by EQT and the acquisition of Prospitalia by Nordic Capital. Leopoldo was responsible for valuation analysis, preparation of investment committee memoranda, support to transaction structuring, and management of due diligence and Q&A processes.

Leopoldo returned to Ardian in 2019 as an Investment Manager in the Buyout team. Leopoldo worked on buyout investments and was later promoted to Senior Investment Manager.

Leopoldo Giandola has a strong education background with a focus on business and finance. Leopoldo obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Accounting, Financial Management and Control from Università Bocconi, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the same institution, studying from 2010 to 2013. During their undergraduate studies, Leopoldo also participated in a BBA Exchange Program at Alliance Manchester Business School in 2013 to further enhance their knowledge in business administration and management.

Before their university education, Leopoldo attended Liceo Scientifico 'E. Fermi' in Bari, where they earned a Five-year High School Diploma in Scientific Studies from 2005 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Leopoldo also holds certification in IELTS Academic, with a final grade of 8, which they obtained in July 2013. Leopoldo also obtained the European Computer Driving License (ECDL) certification in July 2010, although the institution is not mentioned.
