Sherri Cicero

Sherri Cicero has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Sherri most recently served as the Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. starting in November 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of North American Clinical Operations Lead at Novocure from October 2019 to November 2021.

Sherri also held various positions at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc., Axovant Sciences, Celgene, Pfizer, Schering-Plough Research Institute, Novartis, Hoffman-La Roche, Inc., and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Sherri has experience in roles such as Global Operations Program Lead, Global Delivery Lead, Director of Clinical Operations, Scientific Director of Medical Affairs, Associate Scientific Director of Clinical Research, Senior Study Manager, and Senior Global Study Manager.

Sherri's responsibilities throughout their career have included overseeing clinical trials, managing clinical operations teams, developing protocols, conducting medical monitoring, collaborating with key stakeholders, and managing IRB/EC issues. Sherri has also worked on a variety of global Phase III and Phase IV clinical trials in different therapeutic areas, including oncology.

Sherri Cicero earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Psychology from Wagner College between 1982 and 1986. In 2020, they also completed a Mini MBA program in Business at Rutgers Business School.
