Sudheendran Mavila

Sudheendran Mavila is a Senior Research Scientist at Ares Materials, Inc. since June 2021, specializing in formulating photopolymerizable resins for optical applications. Prior to this role, Sudheendran served as a Research Associate at the University of Colorado Boulder, focusing on high refractive index monomers for holography. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, where Sudheendran developed nanometric-sized hybrid particles, and doctoral studies at the University of Stuttgart, involving the synthesis of functional polymers. Additionally, Sudheendran held positions at Biocon and the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Stuttgart, a Master’s in Organic Chemistry from Mahatma Gandhi University, and a Bachelor’s in Chemistry from Kannur University.
