Argenta Fort Dodge has a Weekend Operator position open; it is an opportunity for motivated, driven individuals to showcase their ability to multi task and work as a team. Position is for 1st shift weekend work, 6am-6:30pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Argenta is providing a sign on bonus of $2,500 payable in intervals over the first 15 months.  

Your key responsibilities in this role would include:

  • Operating assembly, packing, and labelling equipment, performing in-process checks to ensure products are manufactured to a high quality
  • Maintaining a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness within the production area
  • Ensuring all equipment used is cleaned, calibrated, and lubricated between batches
  • Production batch documentation is completed accurately and in compliance to cGMP standards

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Past production/manufacturing background. Experience in a GMP environment is strongly preferred
  • A good work ethic, acceptable job performance, and predictable attendance
  • Have a good understanding of Health & Safety practices and a commitment to safety
  • At least 3 years manufacturing experience in pharmaceutical / animal health, food or related industry is preferred but not required
  • Great communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Good Mathematical skills
  • Mechanical aptitude

This position is subject to a DEA background check post offer and at regular intervals.  This position is also required to complete a post offer drug test. Both the background and drug test must comply with company standards or offers of employment will be rescinded.
