Wen Lei Cfa, Mfin

Wen Lei, CFA, MFin has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. They are currently serving as the Head of Investments at The Argus Group since October 2021. Prior to this, Wen worked at TD for four years as a Senior Manager, Insurance Investment Management. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the management, strategy, and reporting of approximately $7 billion in assets for TD General Insurance, Life and Health, and Reinsurance business. Wen also played a key role in implementing investment strategies, introducing new asset classes, and collaborating with stakeholders to support various projects.

Before joining TD, Wen worked at Manulife as the Manager of Global Asset Liability Management within the Investment Division. They were responsible for managing the assets and liabilities and formulating investment strategies.

Wen also gained experience at TD Bank Financial Group as the Manager of Equity Trading in the Equity Derivatives department and as a Risk Analyst in Equity Trading at TD Newcrest. Additionally, Wen worked at CIBC World Markets as a Market Risk Analyst and at State Street as a Senior Investment Valuations Coordinator.
