Alessandro Mona

Alessandro Mona has a strong background in procurement and supply chain management. Alessandro has worked for various companies over the years, starting with Fiat where they worked as a buyer from 2002 to 2004. Alessandro then moved on to General Motors where they served as an Advance Purchasing Senior Buyer for Metallic and Electrical commodities from 2004 to 2006. After that, they joined Indesit Company as a Strategic Sourcing Senior Buyer from 2006 to 2007. Alessandro then joined Whirlpool Corporation and held multiple roles including Procurement Project Manager from 2007 to 2008, Procurement Commodity Manager from 2008 to 2010, and Procurement Senior Manager from 2011 to 2013.

In 2013, they transitioned to SunPower Corporation and worked as the Procurement and Supply Chain Director for Upstream Manufacturing from 2014 to 2015, and as the Procurement and Supply Chain Director for the Philippines from 2013 to 2014. After that, they joined Brembo S.p.A. as the Global Commodity Head from 2015 to 2017.

Currently, Alessandro is with Ariston Group, where they have held several roles. Alessandro started as the Head of Purchasing for Global Indirect & OEM from 2017 to 2018. Alessandro then became the Head of Purchasing for the BU Water Heating, Raw Material, and Transformations Commodities from 2018 to the present. In 2020, they were promoted to the role of Head of Procurement and Supplier Quality - CPO. In this position, they are responsible for setting and executing global procurement strategies for AristonThermo direct materials commodities and the Water Heating Business Unit. Alessandro manages an international team of 20 buyers and commodity managers across all Global Subsidiaries.

Alessandro Mona obtained a master's degree in electrical engineering from Politecnico di Bari, studying there from 1995 to 2001.
