Zach Mayo

Zach Mayo is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel for the Arkansas Attorney General, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Zach served as Criminal Justice Counsel in the Office of Governor Asa Hutchinson from February 2019 to January 2023, and as a Law Clerk for the Arkansas Supreme Court from January 2017 to February 2019. Earlier career roles include Deputy Director of External Relations at The Federalist Society for Law & Public Policy Studies and Field Staff for Cotton for Senate. Zach also gained experience as a Summer Associate at both Kellogg, Huber, Hansen, Todd, Evans & Figel and Kutak Rock. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Florida.
