Kacey Serrano

Kacey (Keefe) Serrano, MPA, CPC, CRC has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Political Science Department at the University of Arkansas. From 2012 to 2015, they held multiple roles at Washington Regional Medical Center, including Population Health Analyst and Credentialing Coordinator for Health Partners PHO. In 2015, they joined Humana as a Provider Engagement Executive and later became the Market Stars Director. In 2018, they moved to Optum as the Director of Clinical Quality, responsible for performance in incentive programs and provider engagement. Most recently, since 2020, Kacey has been working at Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield as the Director of Medicare Risk Adjustment and, more recently, as the Director of Medicare Stars and Risk Adjustment.

Kacey (Keefe) Serrano, MPA, CPC, CRC has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in both Psychology and Biology from the University of Arkansas. Kacey (Keefe) also holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the same university. In terms of certifications, they are a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) obtained in 2016 from the AAPC, and they are also a Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC).
