Todd Shields currently serves as Chancellor of Arkansas State University, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this role, Todd Shields had a long tenure at the University of Arkansas, where various leadership positions were occupied, including Dean of Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences from 2014 to 2022 and Dean of the Graduate School and International Education from 2011 to 2014. Todd Shields has been a faculty member in the Department of Political Science since 1994, progressing from Assistant Professor to Professor. Additional roles include Interim Associate Dean at the Clinton School of Public Service and Associate Director of the J. William Fulbright Institute of International Relations. Education includes a Ph.D. in Survey Research, Research Methods, Political Science, and Psychology from the University of Kentucky, along with a Master's degree in Political Science and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Political Science. Further professional development includes participation in programs at Harvard Business School and The Ohio State University.
