Martin Trinker

Martin Trinker has extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. Martin is currently a Business Angel at Arkeon Biotechnologies since 2022. Previously, they worked at ACIB GmbH as the Director of Business Development & Fundraising from December 2015 onwards. Prior to that role, they were a Research Manager at ACIB GmbH from March 2013 to December 2015. Martin also served as a Senior Scientist at ProtAffin Biotechnologie AG from August 2009 to December 2012. Martin started their career as a Post-Doc at Angewandte Biokatalyse Kompetenzzentrum GmbH from January 2009 to July 2009. Martin Trinker holds a PhD in Biotechnology and completed their studies as a PhD Student at TU Graz / Angewandte Biokatalyse from February 2006 to January 2009.

Martin Trinker attended Handelsakademie Monsbergergasse from 1995 to 2000, where they earned a diploma from the Austrian commercial academy qualifying for university admission or matriculation in the field of Science of Business Management. Following this, they enrolled at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz and completed a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from 2001 to 2004. Martin then pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology at the same institution from 2004 to 2005. Finally, they furthered their education at Technische Universität Graz, where they obtained a doctoral degree in Biotechnology (Dr.rer.nat) from 2006 to 2009.
