Rodion Kostrykine

Rodion Kostrykine has over 14 years of work experience in the finance field. Rodion began their career in 2007 as a Consultant at Sothertons Chartered Accountants, where they provided taxation services and prepared and lodged Corporate Income Tax returns and Business Activity Statements. Rodion then moved to KPMG Australia in 2010, where they served as a Senior Accountant and was a senior audit team member for middle market clients. In 2013, they joined GE as a US GAAP Financial Reporting Accountant, where they were responsible for preparing quarterly and annual financial reports in accordance with US GAAP and performing accounts reconciliation. Rodion then joined DigitalX Limited in 2014, first as a Financial Accountant and then as a Financial Controller. In their role as Financial Controller, they were responsible for preparing General Purpose and Half Year Financial reports (IFRS, AASB) for provision to the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). In 2017, they joined Optal as a Group Finance Manager, where they were responsible for the preparation of statutory Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS and managing the related audit process in various jurisdictions. Rodion then moved to capital.com in 2021 as Head Of Finance - APAC. Finally, they are currently the Chief Financial Officer at Arkon Energy since 2022.

Rodion Kostrykine completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) at Murdoch University in 2007, with a double major in Professional Accounting/Finance and a minor in Marketing Management. Rodion then went on to receive a Master's of Applied Finance from Monash University in 2009. In 2010, they earned a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Rodion is currently in the process of obtaining Level 1 certification from the CFA Institute.
