Miral Kawasmi

Miral Kawasmi currently serves as the Dean of Instruction at Arlington Independent School District since November 2021, having previously held the role of Assistant Principal. Prior experience includes teaching GT PreAP Chemistry and AVID 4 at Grapevine-Colleyville ISD from August 2017 to November 2021, and serving as Special Education Department Chair and Inclusion Teacher at Irving Independent School District from August 2012 to July 2017. Additional roles at Irving ISD encompassed positions as Science Teacher and Instructional Coach, and Science Instructional Coach from August 2006 to August 2010. Miral holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Texas A&M University, a Master's degree in Education from Southern Methodist University, a Principal Certification from Lamar University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education at Texas Tech University.
