Dave Miller

Dave Miller has a long and varied work experience in the IT industry. Dave began their career in 2001 as a Senior Web Designer at Longbridge Advice and Resource Centre. In 2004, they became the Business Owner, Project ManagerSenior IT Engineer & Trainer at Crash-IT. In 2012, they joined Wipro as a Military IT Technical Project Manager, where they led all aspects of IT Program, Project, and Portfolio endeavors involving 12 project teams and Military development products. In 2017, they moved to QC Holdings Inc as an Application Configuration & Administrator Lead, where they identified bottlenecks in processes and implemented new and improved procedures and policies. In 2019, they became the Owner, Senior Technical Project Manager at Innovative Expansions by Design, where they created project vision documents and used project management tools. In 2021, they joined both ArmorPoint and Trapp Technology as a Technical IT Project Portfolio Manager, where they had accountability for all aspects of their program solution fit to business needs, user acceptance and adoption, security, technical soundness and robustness, ROI/cost, time to delivery, prioritization of features, etc.

Dave Miller has a diverse educational history. Dave obtained a High School Diploma from Turner High School in 1993, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Teaching Adult Education from Newman University Birmingham in 2004. Dave then returned to Newman University Birmingham to complete a Science in IT and Technical Support degree in 2010. Additionally, Dave has obtained a number of certifications, including a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from Wipro Limited in 2016, an ITIL v3 Foundation from Wipro Limited in 2015, a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Wipro Limited in 2015, a CAi Satellite Installation from The Confederation of Aerial Industries Limited in 2002, a Demystifying Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) from FIRST STOP SAFETY LTD in 2001, a CACDP Sign Language from Bournville College in 1997, a SECURITY CLEARANCE - SC LEVEL from TPS Consult in 2013, and a First Aid at Work Certificate from New College Redditch in 2004.
