Senior Scientist at Arrakis Therapeutics

Gary Frey has worked in the field of biotechnology for over 20 years. gary began their career in 2000 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University where they worked in the Structural Biology Laboratory of Don C. Wiley, Ph.D. In 2002, they moved to Harvard Medical School as a Postdoctoral Fellow. In 2010, they joined Children's Hospital as an Instructor where they studied the structural changes that occur in HIV gp160 during viral entry and conducted an HTS campaign to identify inhibitors to a novel target on gp41. In 2016, they moved to ICCB-Longwood, Harvard Medical School where they worked as a Senior Assay Developer. Currently, they are a Senior Scientist at Arrakis Therapeutics.

Gary Frey obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Vermont, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from Brandeis University.
