Ella Treinen

Ella Treinen is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in public health, translation, and community service. Currently, Ella serves as a Project Intern with the Alameda County Public Health Department, contributing to the Healthy Brain Initiative by developing evaluation instruments and resource guides. Ella also works as a Clinical Translator for the Refugee Health Alliance, facilitating communication in LGBTQ+ centered refugee clinics. At the Suitcase Clinic, Ella co-directs reflection groups and has gained experience as a Clinical Caseworker, addressing homelessness through holistic approaches. Further involvement includes research as a Clinical Assessor at the Golden Bear Sleep and Mood Research Clinic and coordination of fundraising efforts with the Global Lives Project. Ella's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, with minors in Journalism and Spanish.
