Shawn Kitchin

Shawn Kitchin has extensive work experience in the field of program management and acquisition support. Shawn has held technical program manager roles in multiple companies, including ARServices, SAIC, and Engility Corporation. In these positions, they provided advisory and assistance services for program management and oversaw the planning and execution of technical weapons development projects. Shawn demonstrated expertise in budget analysis, labor planning, requirement definition, and statement of work development. Shawn also provided subject matter acquisition expertise in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

Prior to their roles as a technical program manager, Shawn Kitchin worked at Riverside Research, where they served as a team lead for a C-band Radar Sustainability Study and as a program manager for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center. Shawn was responsible for managing data collection and sharing, as well as providing project management support for software acquisitions using agile development methodologies.

Before joining Riverside Research, Shawn Kitchin had a career in the United States Air Force. Shawn served as an assistant professor of aerospace studies, where they were responsible for recruiting, training, and counseling prospective Air Force officers. Shawn also held various leadership positions, including director of operations, executive officer to the director of communications and information, chief of plans and programs branch, commander of the communications flight, crew commander of the network operations and security center, and staff officer/IT project manager.

Throughout their career, Shawn Kitchin has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in program management, acquisition support, and technical operations. Shawn has also been involved in budgeting, risk management, and contract execution.

Shawn Kitchin has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Wright State University, which they obtained from 1997 to 1999. From 2004 to 2007, they pursued an MBA in Business from the University of Phoenix.
