Ying Tan

Ying Tan is a seasoned arts professional currently serving as a Trustee at Liverpool Biennial since May 2021 and as Senior Programmes Manager for Collections at Art Fund from January 2021. In previous roles, Ying acted as Head of Public Art (Interim) at Futurecity, Curator of Visual Arts at the British Council, and Curator at the Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art, contributing significantly to the development and curation of contemporary art initiatives. Additional experience includes participation in curatorial activities at Liverpool Biennial and Tate, and a notable project as Curator for the studioSTRIKE | Bread & Roses Film Festival. Ying holds a Masters of Philosophy in Art Studies from the University of Cambridge, completed in 2008.
