Erika R. Lowe

Erika R. Lowe is an experienced executive in philanthropy, currently serving as the Executive Director of Philanthropy at the Art Institute of Chicago since December 2016, with prior roles including Director of Philanthropy and Philanthropic Advisor for Major Gifts. Before this, Erika held the position of Assistant Director of Advancement for Major Gifts at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and previously worked at the Art Institute of Chicago as Associate Director of Board and Committee Relations. Previous experience also includes positions at the University of South Carolina and Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. Erika R. Lowe holds a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration/Philanthropy from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Public Relations/Journalism from Western Illinois University.
