Zhengquan Qin

Zhengquan Qin has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. From 2011 to 2013, they began their career as a Student Developer at DuraSpace and later worked as a Research Assistant at the National University of Singapore from 2012 to 2013. In 2012, Zhengquan co-founded Makan Kaki, demonstrating their entrepreneurial skills. From 2014 to 2017, they served as a Software Engineer at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research & Technology Centre and also worked as a Visiting Scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2015. At MIT, they developed the FMSensing iOS/Android App and inference algorithms for the Transit Quality Survey. From 2017 to 2019, Zhengquan was an Advisory and Staff Software Engineer at IBM Research. In 2020, they briefly worked as an Entrepreneur at Antler and then founded their own company, Holler Away, in 2019. From 2021 to 2023, they held the roles of Senior Software Engineer and Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Indeed.com. Most recently, in 2023, Zhengquan joined Arta Finance as a Site Reliability Engineer.

Zhengquan Qin's education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled at the National University of Singapore. Zhengquan pursued a Bachelor of Computing (Honours) degree in Information Systems, which they successfully completed in 2012.

During their undergraduate studies, Zhengquan Qin also attended Tsinghua University in 2010 as a part of a minor program. Zhengquan studied Technopreneurship from the School of Economics and Management for that period.

In 2012, Zhengquan Qin returned to the National University of Singapore to pursue a Master of Computing degree in Computer Science, which they completed in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Zhengquan Qin obtained the certification of "Blockchain Essentials for Developers" from IBM in January 2017.
