Peter T. Finney

Peter T. Finney has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Peter started their career in the United States Navy, where they served as an officer for five years. After leaving the Navy, they worked as a Practice Manager at Tufts / New England Medical Center - Floating Hospital for Children. Peter then joined Perot Systems as a Manager, overseeing claim services for the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Account. Peter went on to work at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as the Deputy Director of Operations for Massachusetts Medicaid. Peter later joined EDS / Hewlett-Packard, where they served as the Director of State and Local Healthcare in the EHR Practice. Peter's next job was at Dell, where they worked as a Client Executive for the Blue Cross Blue Shield of RI Account. Peter then joined CGI as the Vice President - Cigna Account, leading the applications support services contract for an international commercial health plan. Currently, Peter is employed at Gallagher, where they have held various roles including Chief Operating Officer and President of Gallagher Student Health.

Peter T. Finney attended Boston University from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained an MBA in Health Care Management (Honors). Following that, they enrolled in the U.S. Naval War College from 1997 to 1998, earning a MA in National Security and Strategic Studies. Prior to that, from 1980 to 1984, they attended the United States Naval Academy and obtained a BS in Physical Science.
