Mojtaba Alfardan

Mojtaba Alfardan has been working in the tech industry since 2014. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Northern Iowa, where they conducted forensic analysis on USB flash drives deletion methods. During this time, they also worked as an Operations Intern at Jack Henry & Associates. In 2015, they began working as a DevOps Engineer at QCI, where they developed Web APIs using Python/Flask/Sqlalchemy/Linux stack, microservices using AWS API Gateway/Chalice/Lambda/Dynamodb/RDS/SQS/SNS/Kinesis, and end-to-end tests using Protractor and Typescript/Javascript. From 2019 to 2021, they held various DevOps Engineer positions at globaldatanet, EatFirst, SPRING Axel Springer Digital News Media GmbH & Co. KG, and Funding Circle UK. At Funding Circle UK, they worked in the SRE team to create internal tools to increase developer productivity and compliance automation, and also partly worked directly with production development teams to help with Infrastructure automation, architecture and testing. Currently, they are a DevOps Engineer at Artificial Labs.

Mojtaba Alfardan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Northern Iowa between 2012 and 2015.
