Lead Instructional Designer at Artisan E-Learning

Rebecca Schwartz has over 20 years of work experience in the eLearning and instructional design industry. Rebecca began their career in 2001 as a Pre-College Program Director at Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, where they delivered workshops to high school students and their parents on topics like SAT and ACT strategies and college admissions, resulting in on-the-spot enrollments and hundreds of leads. Rebecca also was responsible for scheduling all SAT and ACT classes for the greater Seattle area. In 2008, Rebecca moved to T-Mobile as an Education Services Manager, where they designed and produced VILT sessions using Adobe Connect to preview rollout of new enterprise processes and tools for business analysts, as well as developed and delivered classroom training on technical skills and soft skills. Rebecca then served as a Senior Instructional Designer, where their primary responsibility was designing the company-wide two-day mandatory training inducting new employees to the T-Mobile values. In 2014, Rebecca moved to the University of Washington as a Training Manager, where they designed and delivered software and process training for UW Advancement staff. In 2015, they took on a Director of Consulting Services role at Plum eLearning, where they worked closely with clients to articulate business goals and priorities and connect them to learning objectives in order to develop targeted performance-based eLearning. Rebecca also identified stakeholders and ensured they were involved at the right times to gain buy-in and approval. In 2022, Rebecca moved to ELB Learning (formerly eLearning Brothers) as a Learning and Development Project Manager, where they supported clients and resources in the execution of eLearning projects. Finally, in 2023, Rebecca moved to Artisan E-Learning as a Lead Instructional Designer.

Rebecca Schwartz received their Masters in Education from Seattle University in 2007, specializing in Adult Education and Training. Rebecca obtained their B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College in 1996, majoring in Liberal Arts. In 1995, they attended the Sea Education Association (SEA) to study Oceanography and Maritime History.
