Sayed Sayedy

Sayed Sayedy currently serves as the Head of IT and Information Security at Ärzte der Welt e.V. since May 2023, after previously holding the position of IT and Information Management Officer. Between December 2021 and April 2023, Sayed worked as an IT lecturer and consultant at Deutsche Angestellten Akademie - DAA. Prior experience includes roles such as Group Lead at AWO München-Stadt and Intercultural MiMi-Mediator for Violence Prevention at Ethno-Medical Center Europe, where Sayed specialized in leading violence prevention workshops with an emphasis on intercultural understanding. Sayed's background also includes work as a social worker at IN VIA München e.V. and a social care worker at Diakonie München und Oberbayern. Initial experience in IT was gained through a position at Siemens, focusing on IT service management and user engagement. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Digital Forensics from Albstadt-Sigmaringen University, a Master of Training & Development from Universität Salzburg, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Social Work from Parwan University, among others.
