Paul Pearce has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Paul started their career as a Student Intern at EADS Airbus Deutschland GmbH in 2003. Paul then worked as a Graduate Engineer and Systems Safety Engineer at ASC Pty Ltd from 2005 to 2007. Following that, they joined Deep Blue Tech Pty Ltd as a Senior Systems Engineer from 2007 to 2013. Paul returned to ASC Pty Ltd as a Systems Engineering Manager and later as a Senior Project Engineer from 2013 to 2017. Paul then transitioned to Naval Group Australia, where they served as a Test Qualification & Acceptance Officer and a Land-Based Test Facility Program Manager from 2018 to 2021. Most recently, Paul has been the General Manager Engineering at Southern Launch from 2021 to 2022. Paul has now taken on the role of Head of Engineering Strategy at ASC Pty Ltd.

Paul Pearce's education history includes several degrees and certifications. Paul attended Mt. Barker High School from 1995 to 1999 but did not obtain a specific degree or field of study from there. In 2000, they enrolled in the University of Adelaide and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, focusing on Engineering, which they completed in 2004. During this time, Paul also obtained a professional certification as a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) from Engineers Australia in June 2008.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Paul pursued a Master of Engineering (Military Systems Integration) degree at the University of South Australia from 2006 to 2009. This program provided him with expertise in the integration of military systems. Later, in 2001, they attended the University of Adelaide again, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical and Computer Sciences, specializing in Mathematical and Computer Sciences, which they completed in 2004.

In 2019, Paul furthered their education by completing a Professional Certificate in Defence Industry Leadership from the University of Adelaide, focusing on the leadership aspects of the defense industry. Paul also obtained an additional certification as an OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional: Model Builder - Fundamental from OMG in March 2011, demonstrating proficiency in systems modeling.

Most recently, in 2022-2023, Paul pursued a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Science, specializing in Nuclear Engineering, from UNSW Canberra. This program enhanced their understanding and skills in the field of nuclear engineering.
