Sarah M. has extensive work experience in various security and emergency preparedness roles. Sarah currently holds the position of Senior Security and Emergency Preparedness Team Lead at Ascend Elements, where they are responsible for implementing security protocols and managing security personnel. Prior to this, Sarah worked as a Consultant, sharing their expertise in pre-event mitigation, mid-event response, and post-event recovery with global clients. Sarah also spoke at a counter-terrorism institute event and led a training seminar on emergency management and safety strategies. Sarah's previous experience includes serving as the Chief Operations Officer and Executive Board Member at Shadows of Strength, where they focused on combating human trafficking through strategic planning and oversight of daily operations. Notably, Sarah also has a distinguished career in the US Army, with roles ranging from management to emergency response, law enforcement, and intelligence analysis.

Sarah M. has a Bachelor of Professional Studies (BPS) degree in Professional Studies - Business and Management from Excelsior University, which they obtained from 2020 to 2023. Sarah also holds a Certification in Incident Command from the Emergency Management Institute, completed from 2018 to 2021. Sarah has a Certification in Customer Service Management from the Professional Association for Customer Engagement, obtained in 2021.
