Carolyn Meagher has a diverse work experience spanning over 19 years. Carolyn is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at Ascend Learning, where they lead the talent strategy for the Healthcare business segment. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director of Talent Management at AMAG Pharmaceuticals and as the Human Resources Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Carolyn also held various roles at GE, including Human Resources Manager and Talent Development Manager. Carolyn started their career as a Graduate Assistant at the Darla Moore School of Business and worked as an HR Data Management Generalist at ExxonMobil. Additionally, they have experience as an Internal Auditor at Halliburton and as a Customer Service Associate at Chase. Carolyn's expertise lies in talent management, leadership development, and HR strategy.

Carolyn Meagher began their education by obtaining a BA in Mass Communications with a focus on Public Relations from Louisiana State University from 1999 to 2003. Carolyn then pursued a Masters degree in Human Resources at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business, which they completed from 2006 to 2007.

In 2022, Carolyn enrolled in the Modern CHRO Program at Cornell University and is expected to graduate in 2023. Throughout their career, they also obtained several certifications. These include Executive Compensation: Programs and Practices from the Questrom School of Business, Boston University in June 2023, Leading with Finance from Harvard Business School Online in April 2022, Korn Ferry Leadership Architect Practitioner and viaEDGE Certified Facilitator from Korn Ferry in July 2019 and May 2019 respectively, InsideOut Coaching Certified Presenter from InsideOut Development in April 2018, Designing Learning Certificate from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in December 2017, SHRM-CP from SHRM in September 2015, Six Sigma Green Belt from GE in May 2012, and Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in May 2010.
