Ricky Zhao

Ricky Zhao is a Lead UX Designer at Ascend Learning, where responsibilities include spearheading user research and design efforts for the Healthcare Workforce Solution team to develop an immersive learning experience for clinicians. Previously, Ricky served as a Senior UX Designer at Inbox Health, managing and mentoring junior designers while overseeing user experience for providers and achieving significant improvements in patient payment conversion rates. Prior experience includes roles as a UI/UX Designer at SadoWado LLC and as a Learning Experience Designer at Knopman Marks Financial Training, where Ricky developed educational video content and assessment tools. Educational qualifications include a Graduate degree in Instructional Technology & Media from Columbia University, a UX Design certificate from CareerFoundry, and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
