Joe Worthington has extensive work experience in the recruitment and human resources field. Joe started their career as a Combat Medic in the US Army, where they served from 2003 to 2006. After leaving the military, they transitioned into civilian roles, starting as an Assistant Store Manager at Express Tire in 2007. Joe then worked at Lexus Carlsbad, where they held various roles including Customer Services Manager, Service Consultant, and Senior Recruiter.
In 2016, Joe joined R121 as a Technical Recruiter, specializing in IT and SAP professionals. Joe quickly advanced to the role of Senior Technical Recruiter and Recruitment Team Lead, where they were responsible for training and mentoring other recruiters and ensuring the proper allocation of resources.
In 2020, Joe joined AscendN, where they held multiple roles. Joe initially joined AscendN Federal as a Practice Lead, focusing on recruiting professionals with various security clearances. Joe then moved to AscendN, where they served as a Recruiting Operations Manager and later as a Client Partner and Director of Recruitment. In these roles, Joe prioritized building genuine relationships with clients and consultants, and efficiently solving staffing challenges.
Throughout their career, Joe has demonstrated a passion for recruitment, a strong network in the IT industry, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to both clients and candidates.
Joe Worthington completed a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) at National University.
