Elizabeth McHugh has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Her first job was as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Professional Development in 2014. Elizabeth then interned at Sidley Austin, LLP in 2015 and was subsequently promoted to Docket Clerk, where they filed documents and attorney appearances for new and current cases in Compulaw, inputted future court dates in Compulaw, and created case searches for attorneys in Bloomberg, Court House News, and Juralaw. In 2017, they became a Law Clerk at POTRATZ & ASSOCIATES, P.C. and held the same role at both Womens Legal Services Center and Sheats & Kellogg in 2018. In 2020, Elizabeth began their current role as a Regulatory Intelligence Analyst at Ascent, where they have held this role twice.
Elizabeth McHugh attended DePaul University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology- Law, Crime and Crimonology. Elizabeth then attended DePaul University College of Law from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Doctor of Law in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration.
