Heather Thornton

Heather Thornton has worked in the HR and benefits field since 2002. Heather began their career as a Payroll Coordinator at Franklin Covey in 2002. In 2007, they moved to ADP as a Benefit Specialist, where they performed data integrity and enrollment/eligibility audits, researched and resolved issues, and reviewed, maintained, and modified standard operating and client operating processes and procedures for benefits administration. In 2012, they joined CBIZ as a Benefits Administrator, where they served as a client-facing account representative dedicated to administrating benefits for COBRA participants and Retirees. Heather also handled premium collection and reporting. In 2013, they moved to CBIZ MHM, LLC as a Benefits Manager, where they supported the administration of US benefits, provided reports and data for benefit plan renewals and union negotiations, and tracked and changed premium deductions for union plans based on CBAs. In 2015, they took on the role of Implementations Manager at CBIZ, and in 2016, they joined Ascentis as an Integration Services Analyst, where they created and maintained high quality data integrations from Ascentis HR to insurance carriers and other enterprise systems. Heather is currently employed as a Sr Integration Analyst at UKG.

Heather Thornton attended Brigham Young University - Idaho from 1995 to 1997, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Family Science and Religion.
